Jeff Crum joined ECAF in 2007 as a Director. He has served as the Golf Outing Co-Chair since 2007. Jeff joined ECAF because of all the great work that it had done in the community and wanted to give something back.

Prior to joining Meetings & Incentives Worldwide, Melissa worked as a Corporate Meeting Planner at HSBC and a Meeting & Event Manager at Experient. At Experient she managed large conventions for Associations. She was also a key member of the HSBC team planning the global CEO road show in North America. Melissa’s career at HSBC also included an Intranet Communications role where she managed the employee intranet.
Melissa has worked with a variety of clients in the corporate and association markets ranging from 25 to 27,000 in attendance. Some areas of expertise include project management, supplier negotiations, strategic thinking, onsite management, food and beverage, production and overall meeting management.
She is a graduate of Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Managerial Communications, and received her CMP designation in 2009. Melissa previously served on the Board of Directors for Chicago Area Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and is a Director for Elmhurst Children’s Assistance Foundation (ECAF). She also and received Volunteer of the Month in March and October 2013 and also Tomorrow’s Leader Award from MPI.
Steve joined the board of directors in February 2007. He was elected board president in 2008, serving two terms. Steve is currently a director and has served on the Casino Night Committee and the Golf Classic Committee.
Steve became involved with the Elmhurst Children’s Assistance Foundation because he liked that it was a local charity, where the funds were raised by local people and stayed in the community. “I like being able to help my community.”
In addition, Steve serves on the board of directors for the Elmhurst Walk-In Assistance Network. He previously served on the DuPage and Tree Towns American Cancer Society board of directors, Metropolitan Family Services DuPage board of directors and was the board chairman of the Big Brothers Big Sisters DuPage board. Steve has also served as an Explorer Scout advisor and served on the IL State Law Enforcement Exploring Conference Committee.
